  7.   This file contains some important information to help you get the most
  8.   from Meal-Master. Please review this information before using the
  9.   program.
  10.  
  11.  
  12.   A NOTE ABOUT SHAREWARE
  13.   ----------------------
  14.   Meal-Master is distributed as "Shareware."  Shareware is not free
  15.   software.  It is a distribution concept that allows a "try before you
  16.   buy" evaluation period of the software.
  17.  
  18.   Any fee you may have paid to a shareware distribution service was for
  19.   their service and materials only, and does not provide any compensation
  20.   to the author.  After evaluation, you are legally required to either
  21.   register the software you have with the author or discontinue using it.
  22.   If you continue using the software then registration is not optional;
  23.   it is payment for the software you have already received on a "try
  24.   before you buy" basis.

  26.   When registering Meal-Master, you also will receive the latest version,
  27.   several utility programs, and a professionally typeset and bound 120+
  28.   page User's Manual with full descriptions and examples of all
  29.   Meal-Master features, including a complete index.  You will also
  30.   receive a personal serial number for the program, which will record
  31.   your registration, allow access to the additional Registered User
  32.   features, and eliminate the request for registration from the title
  33.   screen.

  35.   To register, select the "R Registration" option from Meal-Master's main
  36.   menu, then "O Order form".  Fill in the blanks, use your Print Screen
  37.   key to print the filled-in form, and mail with check or money order for
  38.   the amount indicated to Episoft Systems at the address shown on the
  39.   program's initial title screen.

  44.   INSTALLATION - REGISTERED VERSION
  45.   ---------------------------------
  46.   The Registered Master disk includes a program named "INSTALL".  Simply
  47.   place the disk in your floppy drive, and type "A:INSTALL" (or
  48.   "B:INSTALL" if using drive B:) at the DOS prompt and follow the on-
  49.   screen prompts to install the program.  All existing recipe files will
  50.   be preserved for use with the new software.
  51.

  53.   INSTALLATION - EVALUATION VERSION
  54.   ---------------------------------
  55.   The evaluation version as prepared by Episoft is a single, self-
  56.   extracting archive file, "MM7.EXE".  Simply type "MM7" at the DOS
  57.   prompt and follow the on-screen instructions.  A different procedure

  61.   may be necessary if you received your copy from a shareware
  62.   distributor, time share service, or BBS system rather than Episoft.
  63.  
  64.   (Note: the INSTALL program mentioned above is not included nor
  65.   necessary for the Evaluation version.)

  68.   PROGRAM REGISTRATION PROCESS
  69.   ----------------------------
  70.   When registering Meal-Master, you receive a personal serial number
  71.   which must be entered into the program to activate its registered user
  72.   features.  To enter your serial number, start on Meal-Master's main
  73.   menu and select "R Registration Menu".  Then select "E Enter
  74.   Registration Number", and enter your name and serial number EXACTLY as
  75.   provided on the Registration Sticker in your Registered User's Package.
  76.   The capitalization, spacing, and symbols must all be entered EXACTLY as
  77.   shown on your Registration Sticker.
  78.  
  79.   Your registration information is recorded in a file named "MMREG.MMF".
  80.   If you distribute copies of Meal-Master to other users, be sure NOT to
  81.   include this file!  Your registration information is for your personal
  82.   use only!  If you pass on a copy of Meal-Master for someone else to
  83.   evaluate, be sure NOT to include your MMREG.MMF file.

  85.   Record the information from your Registration Sticker in a safe place,
  86.   like inside the cover of your User's Manual.  Should you wish to
  87.   reinstall Meal-Master on a new machine, or if your program should ever
  88.   need to be reloaded from the master disk, you will need this
  89.   information to again enter your registration information.  (However,
  90.   should you lose your registration number, Episoft will replace it at no
  91.   charge.)

  94.   THE SAMPLE DATABASE
  95.   -------------------
  96.   If you are using Meal-Master for the first time, and want to try it out
  97.   without having to type in a bunch of your recipes, you can use the
  98.   sample database provided.  From the Main menu, select "U Utilities"
  99.   then "I Import" and specify "SAMPLE.TXT" for the file name.  On the
  100.   next menu, select "M Mode: Automatic" then "S Start Importing".  The
  101.   sample database of 35 recipes will be loaded into the program, and you
  102.   can immediately begin trying the search, shopping list, index, and
  103.   other features of Meal-Master.

  106.   ADDENDUM/CHANGES TO THE PRINTED MANUAL
  107.   --------------------------------------
  108.   Registered users should make note of the following, which was a "last
  109.   minute" program addition and did not make it into the printed User's
  110.   Manual.
  111.  
  112.        A "/EMS" command line switch has been added.  Specifying "/EMS" on
  113.        the command line when starting MM.EXE (or MMM.EXE) will cause MM
  114.        to test for Expanded Memory.  If available and compatibile, MM
  115.        will use this memory to store program overlays, which speeds up
  116.

  119.        some program operations and may free additional conventional
  120.        memory for certain program operations..

  123.   FILES PROVIDED TO ALL USERS
  124.   ---------------------------
  125.   These files are distributed to users of both the Evaluation version and
  126.   the Registered version of Meal-Master.
  127.  
  128.   MMQUICK.DOC For unregistered users, the MMQUICK.DOC file contains a
  129.               short manual with enough information to get you started
  130.               trying out Meal-Master.  Registered Users do not need to
  131.               review this file, as this information is included in the
  132.               120+ page printed manual supplied with their registered
  133.               master disk.
  134.  
  135.   PRODIGY.DOC Provides information on using Meal-Master with the Prodigy
  136.               (tm) service.  Many Meal-Master users are active on
  137.               Prodigy's Food and Wine forum, and post recipes Exported
  138.               from their Meal-Master database for others to capture and
  139.               Import into their database.  This is a great way for family
  140.               and friends to share recipes, as the electronic transfer
  141.               requires no re-typing of the recipe by those receiving it.

  145.   IMPORTF.DOC Provides a specification of how a file must be formatted to
  146.               Import into Meal-Master.  Although the Import function is
  147.               designed to accept recipes that have actually been Exported
  148.               from Meal-Master, many users are interested in using their
  149.               Word Processors (and/or Meal-Master's built-in Import
  150.               editor) to reformat recipes from other sources into a
  151.               format that Meal-Master will Import.  This file gives the
  152.               "rules" which a file must follow for it to import properly.

  154.   MM.EXE      The main Meal-Master program file.
  155.  
  156.   README!     The file you are now reading.
  157.  
  158.   MM704.DES   A short description file used when posting Meal-Master on
  159.               electronic bulletin board systems for distribution.
  160.  
  161.   CONVERT.EXE Utility program to convert CompuChef (tm), Micro Cookbook
  162.               (tm), and Micro Kitchen Companion (tm) files for Import
  163.               into Meal-Master.  (CompuChef is a registered trademark of
  164.               Hillstepper Software, Micro Cookbook is a reg. trademark of
  165.               Virtual Combinatics, Micro Kitchen Companion is a
  166.               registered trademark of Craftsbury Software, Inc.)

  168.   SAMPLE.TXT  Sample Meal-Master Database, in Meal-Master Export format.
  169.               To use these recipes with Meal-Master, start Meal-Master
  170.               and access the "U Utilities" screen.  Select "I Import",
  171.               and enter "SAMPLE.TXT" as the file name.  On the next menu,
  172.               select "Mode: Automatic", then "S Start Importing".  This

  177.               will load the contents of the sample file into the Meal-
  178.               Master database.

  180.   *.MMP       Assorted printer driver files.

  183.   FILES PROVIDED TO REGISTERED USERS ONLY
  184.   ---------------------------------------
  185.   The following files are "bonus" programs for Registered Users only.
  186.   They will not execute without a personal registration code provided by
  187.   Episoft to Registered Users, so are not typically distributed to
  188.   unregistered users in order to save file size and downloading costs.
  189.  
  190.   CHGCAT.EXE  Utility program to manipulate category names in the
  191.               database.  This program will scan all recipes, collecting
  192.               and organizing all category names.  Each unique category is
  193.               listed, along with information about how many recipes
  194.               contain that category and whether it is on your personal
  195.               category table or not.  A new category name can be
  196.               specified for any of the existing categories, and the
  197.               update will be applied throughout the database.
  198.  
  199.   MMSTAT.EXE  Utility program to analyze database usage.  This program
  200.               reports statistics about how many recipes are in the
  201.               database, maximums and averages of ingredient and direction
  202.               usage per recipe, and remaining capacity based on current
  203.               averages and available disk space.
  204.  
  205.   MMCOLOR.EXE Utility program to set custom colors.  Meal-Master allows
  206.               background and foreground colors to be selected for Normal,
  207.               Medium Intensity, High Intensity, and reverse video.
  208.  
  209.   TITLES.EXE  Utility program to mass update the format of recipe titles
  210.               throughout the database.  Especially when importing recipes
  211.               from multiple sources, some titles will be in all capital
  212.               letters, some in all lower case letters, and some in a
  213.               mixture.  This utility lets you pick the way you want your
  214.               titles to be stored, and updates the entire database using
  215.               that style.
  216.  
  217.   MMM.EXE     Menu "shell" program.  This program provides an integrated
  218.               menu from which the Meal-Master main program and all the
  219.               utility programs can be accessed with a single keystroke,
  220.               rather than exiting and starting each program from the DOS
  221.               prompt.

  235.   DIRECTORY OF THE REGISTERED MASTER DISK
  236.   ---------------------------------------
  237.   The registered master disk contains an installation program, two
  238.   archive files containing all the Meal-Master files, and a small utility
  239.   used by the installation program.  Each file is described below.
  240.  
  241.   INSTALL.EXE Meal-Master installation program.  Place the master disk in
  242.               drive "A:" and type "A:Install" (or "B:Install" if using
  243.               your B: drive) at the DOS prompt to start installation.
  244.  
  245.   MMDC.UTL    Decompression utility used by the INSTALL program.
  246.  
  247.   MM7P.ZIP    Archive containing "MM.EXE", "README!", and assorted
  248.               printer driver files.  Will be automatically expanded by
  249.               the INSTALL program, or you may expand it manually if you
  250.               have a utility program for ZIP format files.
  251.  
  252.   MM7U.ZIP    Archive containing Meal-Master utility, documentation, and
  253.               sample database files.  Will be automatically expanded by
  254.               the INSTALL program, or you may expand it manually if you
  255.               have a utility program for ZIP format files.
  256.  
  257.  
  258.   CAUTIONS/COMMON PROBLEMS
  259.   ------------------------
  260.   If you use the EMM386.SYS memory manager with its NOEMS option, and you
  261.   run Meal-Master under Microsoft Windows, and you specify the "/EMS"
  262.   switch when starting MM.EXE, then you may receive a "violated system
  263.   integrity" message.  There are four ways to correct this problem:
  264.   1) Do not specify the /EMS switch when starting Meal-Master, OR 2)
  265.   Remove the NOEMS option from the EMM386.SYS line in your CONFIG.SYS
  266.   file, OR 3) Create a PIF file for MM and specify zero for the "EMS
  267.   Limit" and "XMS Limit" entries, OR 4) Buy a third-party memory manager
  268.   such as QuarterDeck's QEMM (which will not only fix this problem, but
  269.   provide much better memory management capabilities than EMM386 does!).
  270.  
  271.   Some monochrome displays driven by color adapter circuitry
  272.   (particularly prevalent on inexpensive laptop machines) often do not
  273.   provide sufficient gray scale contrast to differentiate between the
  274.   text colors used by the unregistered version of Meal-Master.  If you
  275.   encounter this problem with the unregistered version, try using the DOS
  276.   command "Mode BW80" immediately before running Meal-Master (the MODE
  277.   command is found in the DOS directory).  Registered users can use the
  278.   MMCOLOR program to set the specific color combinations that work best
  279.   on their machine.
  280.  
  281.   You must have the file CONFIG.SYS in the root directory of your boot
  282.   disk, and it must contain the statement FILES=xx, where xx is a number
  283.   that is at least 12.  If this file is missing, does not contain the
  284.   FILES= statement, or specifies a value less than 12, Meal-Master may
  285.   not perform all functions.  If you are using any sort of "task
  286.   switching" software, such as Microsoft Windows or the task switching
  287.   utility provided with DOS 5, a minimum of 30 is recommended.

  293.   If you have been using a version of Meal-Master prior to 6.05, and you
  294.   have been using the Utility/Import function, there may be some category
  295.   names that will not be found correctly by the Search function.  To
  296.   correct this, run the CHGCAT program and select the "Check/Fix
  297.   Corrupted Categories" option.  Full documentation for this utility is
  298.   found in Chapter 10 of the printed user's manual.
  299.  
  300.   The PARM.MMF file created by some older versions of Meal-Master is
  301.   occassionally incompatible with a newer version.  If you have trouble
  302.   getting MM to run, try deleting the PARM.MMF file and then restarting
  303.   the program.
  304.  
  305.   If you have been using a version of Meal-Master (or Meal-Meister) with
  306.   a version number less then 5.01, you must delete the old program files,
  307.   MM.COM and MM.000, before running the current version.  If these files
  308.   are present, when you type "MM" to start the MM.EXE program, the MM.COM
  309.   program will be executed instead.  Type "DEL MM.COM" and "DEL MM.000"
  310.   at the DOS prompt to eliminate these files.

  313.   CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE

  315.   Version 7 is the result of suggestions from many users, and everyone
  316.   who wrote to suggest new features deserves credit for this version!

  328.   7.00  -  Initial release of version 7.  See below for details.
  329.   7.01  -  Corrects a problem with the "Special: MMMMM" export format
  330.            used to exchange recipes on BBS "echo" systems
  331.   7.02  -  Adds support to the CONVERT.EXE program for the "Micro Kitchen
  332.            Companion - Windows Edition v1.3 and v1.4" products.
  333.   7.03  -  Corrects a problem when exporting with "Decimal Fractions" set

  352.            "/EMS" command line switch is specified.

  354.            Under certain circumstances, the MMSTAT program would report
  355.            disk space available as "-1" instead of the actual value.
  356.            This has been corrected.

  359.   CHANGES IN VERSION 7
  360.   --------------------
  361.   The following is a list of the major changes in version 7 of Meal-
  362.   Master, as compared to version 6.41 released in January 1992.
  363.  
  364.   A new install program replaces the old procedure of DOS copy commands,
  365.   making installation easier.
  366.  
  367.   Ingredient entry and editing is now done on a "Fill in the blanks"
  368.   entry form.  The previous requirements to press "I" before each new
  369.   ingredient and to press F1 to edit each ingredient have been
  370.   eliminated.
  371.  
  372.   All ingredients in a recipe can be simulaneously converted from Metric
  373.   to English, or from English to Metric, with a single command.  These
  374.   conversions had to be done one ingredient at a time in previous
  375.   versions.
  376.  
  377.   The Quantity and Unit of Measure fields can now be blank.  Existing
  378.   ingredients with "1 x" designation are automatically displayed with
  379.   blank quantity and unit.  Lengthy ingredient names can now be entered
  380.   by using a "continuation" line.
  381.  
  382.   The "x" unit of measure, previously combined with a quantity of 1 for
  383.   "as required", now has a new meaning when used with a quantity greater
  384.   than 1: "per serving".  This is especially useful for tracking
  385.   nutritional information, since items such as "300 x Calories" or "10 x
  386.   grams fat" can be entered in the ingredient section.  Several recipes
  387.   (a meal, or a day's meals, for example) can then be marked, and the
  388.   "shopping list" function will add together the per-serving nutritional
  389.   information for total meal or total day's intake.
  390.  
  391.   Several new units of measure have been added:  lg (large), md (medium),
  392.   sm (small), ct (carton), sl (slice) and bn (bunch) are now allowed.
  393.   Units have been resequenced on the pop-up list to place all English
  394.   units together, and all Metric units together.
  395.  
  396.   An all-new directions editor has been added, with word processing
  397.   commands including insert/overtype modes, word left, word right,
  398.   reformat, etc.
  399.  
  400.   After performing a search, listed recipes can now be highlighted using
  401.   arrow keys.  Pressing Enter views the highlighted recipe, "M" marks it,
  402.   "E" exports it, "P" prints it, and so forth.  There is no need to enter
  403.   the recipe number!

  405.   The "dual-column" ingredient format can now be sequenced in a "down-
  406.

  409.   then-across" method as well as the "across-then-down" method.
  410.   Previously, the "across-then-down" format meant that the first
  411.   ingredient was in the left column, then the second in the right column,
  412.   the third in the left column, and so forth; causing a "zig-zag" effect
  413.   that many users did not like.  With the "down-then-across" format, the
  414.   first half of the ingredients are listed downward in the left column,
  415.   then the second half are listed downward in the right column.
  416.  
  417.   Category Selection has been improved.  Selecting from the pop-up list
  418.   can be done with up/down/left/right arrow keys, and typing a character
  419.   "jumps" to the first category that begins with that character.
  420.  
  421.   New flexible Import feature.  Completely re-written, Import allows many
  422.   new options and has a built-in editor.  When an import error occurs, it
  423.   can be fixed "on the spot" or sent to an error file for later
  424.   processing, so that the import can continue.  Recipes with duplicate
  425.   titles can be skipped, or sent to a duplicate file for later review.
  426.   Direction lines can optionally be reformatted automatically as part of
  427.   the Import process.  Duplicate checking has been enhanced, and allows
  428.   viewing of potential duplicates to ensure correct import action.
  429.  
  430.   When exporting multiple recipes (marked or range), each recipe can be
  431.   automatically written to a separate file.
  432.  
  433.   A new export format has been added which eliminates the hyphens in the
  434.   header and footer; this provides compatibility with BBS systems that
  435.   could not use hyphens.
  436.  
  437.   Indexes and Shopping lists can be printed to a DOS file.
  438.  
  439.   New options on the Title index allow creation of an index containing
  440.   only marked recipes, and creation of an index without the alphabetic
  441.   subtitle breaks.
  442.  
  443.   The current database path is shown on all major menu screens.  All
  444.   menus have been updated for better consistency and ease of use.
  445.  
  446.   Printer handling has been greatly expanded.  Multiple setups can be
  447.   created, stored, and switched between easily.  Printer command strings
  448.   can now be up to 150 characters long, and both "setup" and "reset"
  449.   strings are provided.
  450.  
  451.   A new Search option allows suppression of recipes flagged for deletion.
  452.   Using this option, deleted recipes "disappear" immediately instead of
  453.   waiting for the next Rebuild.
  454.  
  455.   The maximum number of marks has been increased from 250 to 350.
  456.  
  457.   The "Automark Search" has been improved.  There is now a "continuous"
  458.   mode which allows all matching recipes to be marked without pressing
  459.   enter as each page is displayed.
  460.  
  461.   New ingredient search options provide a "full word" search option, use
  462.   of both "and" and "or" logic in the same search, and a negative search
  463.   capability.  For example, searching for "chicken and cheese and -salt"
  464.

  467.   would find only recipes containing both chicken and cheese, but no
  468.   salt.  Searching for "beef or chicken and onions" would find only
  469.   recipes that contained either beef or chicken, and also contained
  470.   onions.

  472.   In addition to the "string" search in titles, a "partial word" search
  473.   can also now be used.  For example, typing "A.." as the Title Search
  474.   criteria would display only recipes whose titles begin with "A".  This
  475.   technique can also be used in the Category Search criteria, allowing a
  476.   search for "Bread.." to find recipes with category names like "Bread",
  477.   "Breads", and "Bread mach".

  479.   New options on the Utility menu allow a category name to automatically
  480.   be added to, or deleted from, all marked recipes throughout the
  481.   database.
  482.  
  483.   DOS text files can now be viewed from the Utilities menu, without
  484.   leaving Meal-Master.
  485.  
  486.   The "high ascii" characters can now be used throughout the program,
  487.   providing foreign language accent characters, degree symbols, and other
  488.   symbols.  For example, pressing "248" on the numeric keypad while
  489.   HOLDING DOWN the ALT key will generate a degree symbol.
  490.  
  491.   A new option on the Maintenance menu allows all measures entered as
  492.   "t " to be displayed as "ts", and all those entered as "T " as "Tb".
  493.   This option was previously available only as a command line switch.
  494.  
  495.   All reported "bugs" have been corrected.
  496.  
  497.   The manual has been rewritten, with over 120 pages of descriptions and
  498.   helpful examples!

  501.   CHANGES IN PREVIOUS VERSIONS
  502.   ----------------------------
  503.   The following items are not new to version 7, but are significant
  504.   enhancements in previous versions.  They are listed here for users who
  505.   have been using a version earlier than the 6.41 release, and want to
  506.   compare to see what has been added since their current version was
  507.   released.
  508.  
  509.   NEW UNITS OF MEASURE (v6.10)
  510.   ----------------------------
  511.   Additional unit codes for volume and weight have been added, including
  512.   full support for common metric measures.  Metric units now include
  513.   milliliter (ml), cubic centimeter (cc), centiliter (cl), deciliter
  514.   (dl), liter (l), milligram (mg), centigram (cg), decigram (dg), gram
  515.   (g), and kilogram (kg). Common U.S. units now include teaspoon (t or
  516.   ts), tablespoon (T or tb), fluid ounce (fl), cup (c), pint (pt), quart
  517.   (qt), gallon (ga), ounce (oz), and pound (lb).  Automatic conversion
  518.   between unit types is provided, including conversion between English
  519.   and Metric units.

  525.   Additional item units have also been added.  Item units now include
  526.   each (ea), can (cn), package (pk), pinch (pn), drop (dr), dash (ds),
  527.   and "as required" (x).
  528.  
  529.   When entering or revising an ingredient, the unit of measure can now be
  530.   selected by highlighting the desired unit on a list.  After entering
  531.   the quantity, a window will be displayed with the valid unit of measure
  532.   codes.  You can cycle through the various codes using the PgUp and PgDn
  533.   keys, and you can highlight individual codes using the Up and Down
  534.   arrow keys.  Once you have highlighted the desired unit, pressing
  535.   return selects it.  Of course, you can still type in the unit codes
  536.   just as in previous versions, if you prefer.

  585.   A utility program has been added to allow registered users to change
  586.   the text and background colors.  Place the file MMCOLOR.EXE in the same
  587.   directory where you keep the MM.EXE program file.  Type MMCOLOR at the
  588.   DOS prompt to start the program.  Use the function keys to select your
  589.   choices for foreground and background colors, then press the "Q" key to
  590.   quit the program.  You will be given a choice of saving the changes you
  591.   have made, or keeping the old colors.  If you choose "Y" to save your
  592.   changes, the next time Meal-Master is started it will use the colors
  593.   you have chosen.

  596.   SERVING SIZE CHANGE FOR LIST ONLY  (v6.12)

  598.   A new option on the Maintenance menu has been added. Pressing "S"
  599.   toggles between "As Stored" and "Prompted" modes for serving size on
  600.   listed recipes.  When set to "As Stored," recipes are always printed
  601.   with the same number of servings.  When set to "Prompted," an
  602.   additional screen is displayed after selecting a recipe to list.  This
  603.   screen allows the serving quantity to be altered for the current
  604.   listing only, without making any permanent change to the database.

  607.   SPECIAL EXPORT FORMAT FOR PRODIGY (tm) Users (v6.20)

  609.   A special export format has been added for users of the Prodigy (tm)
  610.   on-line service.  This format is compatible with direct upload and
  611.   download for users exchanging recipes via the Prodigy service.  The
  612.   "Export Recipe Format" option on the Maintenance menu allows choosing
  613.   the "Normal" export format or the new "Special *P" format for Prodigy.

  615.   Using this format, recipes posted to Prodigy forums by others can be
  616.   captured and imported directly into Meal-Master without any retyping.
  617.   With the help of a shareware utility program called "ProUtil" from
  618.   Royston Associates, you can also upload your own recipes directly to
  619.   Prodigy (tm) for other users without any retyping.  For more

  723.   The existing conversion utilities (CC2MM.EXE, MC2MM.EXE, and
  724.   MKC2MM.EXE) have been replaced with a single program, CONVERT.EXE.
  725.   This provides a menu-driven interface (previous programs were command-
  726.   line driven), and provides consistent conversion options for all three
  727.   types of conversions.  During conversion, recipe titles can be updated
  728.   to all upper case, all lower case, or left as is.  A log named
  729.   "CONVERT.LOG" can be generated which lists each recipe name converted,
  730.   along with any quantity or unit of measure adjustments made during the
  731.   conversion.  Type "CONVERT" at the DOS prompt and select the "P Program
  732.   Information" selection for more information.

  735.   MENU EXIT CONSISTENCY (v6.4)

  737.   The standard way of exiting a sub-menu in Meal-Master is the "X" key,
  738.   but a few sub-menus used the "Q" key instead.  The Batch Print, Export,
  739.   and Import sub-menus have been revised to use "X" as their exit key to
  740.   be consistent with the rest of the program.  The "Q" key is used only
  741.   on the main menu, to "Quit" Meal-Master and return to DOS.

  744.   SWITCH TO DISPLAY "T" and "t" UNITS AS "tb" AND "ts" (v6.42)

  746.   When starting MM, a "/T" command line switch can be used to force
  747.   display of tablespoons as "tb" and teaspoons as "ts".  The switch
  748.   affects all display, printing, and export operations, but does not
  749.   change the way ingredients are actually stored on the database.

  751.   and export of units exactly as input to the database.  To use this
  752.   feature, simply specify "/T" on the command line when starting
  753.   Meal-Master (for example, "MM /T").
